The planetary hours in this application utilize the Chaldean order to segment time. Each hour in the planetary day corresponds to a specific planet's influence. The ruling planet of the first hour of the day governs the entirety of that day, thereby assigning its name. For instance, Sunday's initial hour is ruled by the Sun and Monday's by the Moon.

It's crucial to note that these planetary hours differ from our standard sixty-minute hours. The day is segmented into two primary sections: daytime and nighttime. Daytime spans from sunrise to sunset, with nighttime encompassing sunset to the following day's sunrise. Each of these periods is further divided into twelve equal planetary hours whose lengths can vary between day and night, except during the Equinoxes when balance between light and darkness prevails.

Every planetary hour is linked with a particular planet, which can be leveraged to enhance magical practices. This advanced method surpasses merely choosing a day governed by a suitable planet for a specific goal, pinpointing an exact hour for conducting magical workings.
